7-up for me and you.

How many 7-up fans do we have out there? To me it is a travesty that 7-up is not served more at any of your local fast food stands. Instead, the fast food machine decides to serve you Sprite. So for my fellow 7-up fans here are some interesting facts I pulled for you directly off the 7-up site.

7UP is a brand within the Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages (CSAB) group of companies. CSAB is one of the largest products of soft drinks and premium beverages in the Americas. CSAB’s brand portfolio includes Snapple, Dr Pepper, 7UP, A&W Root Beer, Sunkist, Canada Dry, Hawaiian Punch, Schweppes, RC Cola, Diet Rite, Slush Puppie frozen drinks, Mott’s Apple Juice, Clamato, Mr & Mrs T, Holland House mixers, Rose’s, Mistic, Yoo-Hoo, Orangina, IBC, Stewart’s, Nantucket Nectars and other well-known consumer brands. Plano, Texas-based Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages is a subsidiary division of Cadbury Schweppes plc (NYSE: CSG).

Although I prefer Mountain Dew and Pepsi over the clear sodas, I must admit I do like 7Up over Sprite. I rarely find 7Up listed in any restaurant chain. It's perfect for those wine spritzers - just ask The Birdman and AvMan. Thanks for the 411 on 7Up!
