The Chris Benoit tribute was done before it was revealed he killed his family. Had WWE known prior that he killed them, they would have not aired the tribute. Today Vince McMahon made an appearance on TV apologizing for the tribute and it would be the last time Benoits name would be mentioned...

well i am a dumbass - it was wally george!! (i knew when the creep guy said joyner it was wrong). wally joyner did play for the angels.
