Where do I begin....My pick to win The Next Food Network Star on the Food Network Channel was kicked off last night. My boy JAG, the boriqua was let go after he withdrew himself from the final two spot in the competition AFTER Amy was already let go. There were rumors circulating throughout the Internet that JAG did not serve in Afghanistan and that he didn't graduate Culinary School as he had stated. He never really wanted to talk about his past and that is probably why. Food Network tried to give him a chance at a press conference to reveal his hidings but he didn't. F.N. eventually called JAG in for a meeting where JAG revealed the truth. I was disappointed as I wanted him to win, but when he lied about being in the service when so many of our Soliders are dying, that is just wrong. So what happened? Amy came back and is competing against Rory aka Gumby...she has huge gums...My pick has switched from the caribeaner to the Gourmet Next Door Amy....Good luck girl

Tater Tot Fridays?
I stayed at home today still trying to fight this cold I have had...its horrible and I've taken so many pills to combat it....
Well for those fans of Beans blog back in the day I have a treat for you. Today Bean sent me a picture of his beloved Tater Tot playing in his yard and here it is....
Now compare him to my wife and I's bulldog Burbank as he tries to protect his lemon
Aren't they so similar??
Happy weekend to you all!

Irons
Do you ever notice how when you use someone else iron to iron your clothes, their iron is a hell of a lot hotter and better than yours. So what do you do? You go out and buy that iron only to be bummed when it still doesn't get as hot as theirs.
Here is a picture of my Food Network Crush Giada

My 90th Post
On this nice humid day in Southern California, my 90th post has came upon us....It could have been more but I am just lazy...
This post is dedicated to the Birdman who is constantly making fun of my Carribeanerness.
I am a huge fan of the food network and yes I love to cook. In fact my next house is going to have a Viking Stove with a grill...
Well one of my favorite shows on the Food Network is called unwrapped. Last nights episode was dedicated to spicy things and one of those on the list was Beans. Refried Beans in fact. My wife always gets on my case because I love me the Rosarita Refried Beans.
In the episode it showed how the makers of the beans purchase the pinto beans, rinse them out to get any rocks out of the batch and then slowly cook them. Then then put them into this huge masher and actually have a level of mashing that they do! Then then run the mashed beans from a machine into another which puts the beans into a can and seals them up. The canned beans are then put into a heater type compression machine that gives the beans a 7 year shelf life! That's freakin incredible. 7 years!
Watch unwrapped as well as The Next Food Network Star. My pick JAG is still in the final 3 woohoo!

Just an update
The Chris Benoit tribute was done before it was revealed he killed his family. Had WWE known prior that he killed them, they would have not aired the tribute. Today Vince McMahon made an appearance on TV apologizing for the tribute and it would be the last time Benoits name would be mentioned...
Posted by ninjunkie951 at 9:04 PM 6 comments
What did you do Benoit....
I used to be a huge wrestling fan and even did behind the scene wrestling news for a website which included me being a co-host of a weekly nationwide radio show. We actually interviewed Chris Benoit a few years back and he was one of the nicest guests we ever had. Something obviously made Chris Benoit snap to kill his wife and child then commit suicide. I'm not sure what it was but he knew what he was going to do. If you watched the tribute show on RAW last night (before it was announced Murder-Suicide), you will see that Chavo Guerrero (nephew of the late Eddie Guerrero) mentions that before Chris Benoit left to go aid his "ill" family, he told Chavo, "I love you Chavo". This to me seemed like it was a final farewell. Why would he tell Chavo that? I told my wife that I bet you it was Benoit who killed his wife and kid then himself. Sure enough an hour later I read the headlines and thats what it was.
The Distict Attorney for Fayetteville county also mentioned in a briefing that the killings were a little bizarre. Not sure what this means either...
WWE.COM is also already taking down the merchandise of Chris Benoit and the tributes are sure to come down quickly as well.

They're Back
Mile-wide UFO' spotted by British airline pilot
thisislondon.co.uk ^ | London, Friday 22.06.07 | thisislondon.co.uk

One of the largest UFOs ever seen has been observed by the crew and passengers of an airliner over the Channel Islands.
An official air-miss report on the incident several weeks ago appears in Pilot magazine.
Aurigny Airlines captain Ray Bowyer, 50, flying close to Alderney first spotted the object, described as "a cigar-shaped brilliant white light".
Scroll down for more
Aurigny Airlines captain Ray Bowyer, 50, described what he thought to be a UFO as 'a cigar-shaped brilliant white light', similar to the image supplied by Dennis Plunket of the British Flying Saucer bureau
As the plane got closer the captain viewed it through binoculars and said:
"It was a very sharp, thin yellow object with a green area. It was 2,000ft up and stationary. I thought it was about 10 miles away, although I later realised it was approximately 40 miles from us. At first, I thought it was the size of a [Boeing] 737.
"But it must have been much bigger because of how far away it was. It could have been as much as a mile wide."
Continuing his approach to Guernsey, Bowyer then spied a "second identical object further to the west".
He said: "It was exactly the same but looked smaller because it was further away. It was closer to Guernsey. I can't explain it. This was clearly visual for about nine minutes.
"I'm certainly not saying that it was something of another world. All I'm saying is that I have never seen anything like it before in all my years of flying."
The sightings were confirmed by passengers Kate and John Russell. John, 74, said "I saw an orange light. It was like an elongated oval".
The sightings were also confirmed by an unnamed pilot with the Blue Islands airline.
The Civil Aviation Authority safety notice states that a Tri-Lander aircraft flying close to Alderney spotted the object.
"Certain parts of the report have not been published. I cannot say why," said a senior CAA source.
Earlier this year however, the MOD declared its intentions to open its UFO files to the public.

Rescue Me...Not
I am not a beer drinker but I know most of you are so I thought I would post this funny and true story I came across that took place in Australia:
Emergency workers have come to the rescue of a town cut off by floodwaters in true Antipodean style - by delivering a large consignment of beer by boat.
Floodwaters have devastated the Hunter Valley wine-growing region
The tiny town of Hinton, in the Hunter Valley wine-growing region, has been surrounded for five days by the floodwaters that have devastated parts of New South Wales after storms and torrential rain at the weekend.
The murky brown water, the authorities said, contained sewage and other pollutants, but its 400 inhabitants were more worried about a lack of beer.
A plentiful supply was required to celebrate a much-anticipated rugby league match between New South Wales and Queensland yesterday.
For days State Emergency Service volunteers had been ferrying staples such as bread and milk to the stranded town in flat-bottomed boats.
Yesterday, they added 12 kegs and 36 cartons of beer to their cargo.
"They'll be able to watch the game and have a cold one tonight," said Philip Campbell, a SES spokesman. The local watering hole, the Victoria Hotel, was in danger of becoming a real-life version of one of Australia's best known ballads, The Pub With No Beer. The song, by the late country singer Slim Dusty, laments that "there's nothing so lonesome, so morbid or drear, than to stand in a bar of a pub with no beer".
Song of the day and how I have been feeling for oh...two weeks....
The Fragile-Nine Inch Nails
she shines
in a world full of ugliness
she matters when everything is meaningless
fragile
she doesn't see her beauty
she tries to get away
sometimes
it's just that nothing seems worth saving
i can't watch her slip away
i won't let you fall apart
i won't let you fall apart
i won't let you fall apart
i won't let you fall apart
she reads the minds of all the people as they pass her by
hoping someone can see
if i could fix myseld i'd-
but it's too late for me
i wont let you fall apart
i won't let you fall apart
i won't let you fall apart
i won't let you fall apart
we'll find the perfect place to go where we can run and hide
i'll build a wall and we can keep them on the other side
...but they keep waiting
...and picking...
it's something i have to do
i was there, too
before everyhting else
i was like you

Sopranos Finale....My Take
Soprano's Finale
Well if you haven't seen the Series Finale of the Soprano's don't read this entry.
From what I've been hearing and reading, many people were disappointed with the way the Soprano's ended. Now the reason they were disappointed was because they can't follow a series or read deeper into what was shown to them.
The Soprano's got their revenge on Phil at a Gas Station where he was making calls to his family members from. What was great about this scene was that it wack came from no where. Then the SUV Phil came in ran over his head. There were two kids inside the vehicle and when Phil got ran over and their faces were like oh oh.
Sil...Poor Sil....one of my favorite characters is still in a coma. He never came out of it.
The final scene ends with Tony at a cafe listening to a jukebox. He flips through a few songs and finally settles on one. At this point my heart is racing as I know it is the final scene and there is about 4 minutes left before it ends. Tony keeps looking up (At this point we are looking through Tony's eyes)...Is someone going to wack him? A few people walk through the cafe doors. Carmella finally walks in and sits with Tony. Tony looks up...AJ walks through the door. Finally we go to an outside view and the adorable Meadow is trying to parallel park her car. I'm waiting for someone to come wack her. She tries about 4 times finally getting it right....Tony looks around the cafe. There is a weird guy looking at him with a USA cap on...The guy gets up and starts walking towards Tony but enters the bathroom..Camera goes outside Meadow is running across the street...I start seeing a car light coming towards her...NO!! Meadow is going to get run over...Well she doesn't...She opens the door...Camera points to Tony and Tony looks up...We are looking through his eyes again when..........Black......Black screen. I scramble for my remote and flip it to another channel. Other channels still work WTF!! I turn back and the credits are on. What happened?
Well a few episodes back Tony was talking to Bobby and Tony asks him something along the lines of how do you know when you've been wacked. Bobby answers him with...it just turns Black. So if you relate this with the Black screen mentioned about...Tony was wacked.
Now why didn't they show it? Well because a regular writer would just show him getting wacked with blood everywhere. A good writer will tie in other episodes and show some sort of symbolism of death.
Bada Bing Bada Boom that is the Sopranos ending.

Bo knows....Apologies??
I heard about this story a while back where the Daily Bulletin here in So Cal posted a news article about former Baseball and Football star Bo Jackson....Remember the Bo Knows commericals? Yeah I barely do either, but here is the apology for the
Public Apology to Bo Jackson
On behalf of the California Newspapers Partnership, MediaNews Group, Inc., and MediaNews Interactive, Inc., we would like to reiterate our previous unconditional apology to Mr. Bo Jackson and his family for the article titled "Forum Tackles the Dangers of Steroid Use" that appeared in both the print and online versions of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin on March 24, 2005.
The article quoted a speaker who stated that "Bo Jackson lost his hip because of anabolic abuse." Because the reporter did not obtain corroborating evidence to support the statement, we fully retract this quote and deeply regret and apologize for any distress this may have caused to Mr. Jackson, his family, or friends. Mr. Jackson is one of the finest athletes of the past two decades, and we apologize if the article served in any way to call into question his athletic accomplishments throughout his career
**My Comment.....Bo should be happy anyone is talking about him anymore even if it is falsified information...Bo doesn't know publicity

Some crackers for my Whine (spelled intentionally wrong)
Due to work and the horrible communications that goes one at the M, when I go to sleep tonight, I will have been up a total of 41 hours straight. Why? Because I didn't want to miss a deploy that kept being pushed back and back and back from 6pm to 2am and finally at 6:00am I gave up on waiting and went to lay down; only to realize the sun was rising and I can't sleep when it the sun is out.
To those who are curious as to why I didn't go to sleep and let the phone wake me up...I would have probably received crap if I missed the call had i slept throught the ringing of my phone which I did before and is why I stayed up.
Ohh...Does anyone at the M care? Why yes they do...They cared that I didn't come in until 12 noon today and that 4 hours of productive time was lost.
Yup...Hope I don't offend anyone that has been at the M for a long long time but life at the M in my group BLOWS

What's Out
The Faux-Hawk...Too many people getting this haircut killed it and put it on the trendy list....Since I hate the trend I got rid of mine a while back and opted to go back to the combed back "cholo" hairstyle as Birdman calls it.
American Bingo Night or whatever this crap is called. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Finally...Shave and a Hair cut...two bits....People...please stop knocking on a door or cubicle this way....its stupid and its not funny....when was the last time ANYONE ever laughed at shave and a hair cut...two bits...Next time someone does that open the door and slam it in their face

WTF Smells
Alright...so I start smelling this odd smell in my car similar to that of a rotting carcus (probably spelled that wrong). At first I thought, ok its just this bag of Jack in the Box that I forgot to take out...I took the bag out and the smell continued, in fact it got worse. So I searched my car and the backseat area smelled worse. Looked around...nothing...I open up my trunk and it reeks worse in there. I have my car wash towel in there, (no birdman just because I'm hispanic doesn't mean I work at the car wash). I thought the towel possibly had mildew or something on there from being wet and in an enclosed area. Smelled the towel..not it...I find a packet of Round Table Parmeasan Cheese that is kind of damp...more than likely from the towel...smelled it..YES I found it.....Not so fast Audio...The smell continues to get worse as I drive home. I start wondering if I smelled like my car all day like that one Seinfeld episode where the B.O. stayed with Jerry. The Wife and I head to the store after I get home and she says your cars smells!! We roll all the windows down and it still smells! Finally after we get home I tell her I am looking in my trunk one more time....well...in the very back of my trunk, pressed up against the back seat was a dead rat.......just kidding....but pressed up against my back seat was a pound and a half of hamburger meat that I bought at the store on Monday. It was all greenish brown and I practically heaved when I saw it. What's worse was inside the bag that the meat was in were my Cheese Biscuit packet that I was soooo looking forward to eating...
oh bother

Social D
Social Distortion (Social D) has came out with a new tune called Far Behind. The song seems to be talking about leaving old friends behind. I'm not Mike Ness so I'm not sure if he means Drugs, or does he really mean friends. Whatever the case is I love the song. It does have a bit of a more pop chorus line but its a feel good track. Birdman doesn't like the chorus though and for that I give you a big BOOOOOOOO! I can't wait to see them some around so cal in a small tour.
This morning I heard Bean talk about a movie called King of Kong, a documentary on the guy who scored the highest points ever in a Donkey Kong game. For some reason it sounded fascinating so I looked into it and there really is a movie. Unfortunatly I have to work this weekend and probably next so I won't be able to see this flick for a few weeks but I'm going to.

More Pooh
Thank you for the feedback on Winnie the Pooh. The response was so tremendous I thought I would treat you with a Winnie the Pooh joke.
What do you call Winnie the Pooh's Toes?
Pooh-toes (putos)
If you know spanish you would have got the joke. If you don't know spanish, move to America where you can learn it.

Oh Bother
Ya know...I was having an interesting conversation with my wife the other night. I brought up Winnie the Pooh and why the sign above his door says Mr. Sanders. Well it all led to why Winnie say's "Oh Bother". She mentioned that he is actually trying to say, "Oh Brother". We went back and forth on this topic with no apparent victor.
My argument: He really is saying and meaning, "Oh Bother" because something is bothering him.
She says Oh Brother.
What do you think?

And what it could have been
Ahhhh...i hate today
Weekend was partially good...I went to a Michael Douglas Celebrity Golf Tournament in Ranchos Palos Verde. Nice day out there and chatted it up a bit with Mark Wahlberg and Alice Cooper who were really cool. They guy that was probably the coolest though was Kenny Fn G. He is also an awesome golfer. Samuel L Jackson was a bit of a dick. The hottest of the hot Catherine Zeta-Jones was playing as well. She was wearing white pants and you know what they say about women who wear white pants....Capped off the end of the day by eating at the best damn restaurant in LA, El Tapyac. Located in East Los Angeles, it is seriously awesome mexican food.
Came home and went downhill from there. I just don't understand women....
Woke up too damn early, nothing exciting seemed to happen at Coachella from what I have read and heard. Opened up my car tags only to find that they were not car tags at all and in fact was a bill for $1.00. Yes ONE Dollar. My tags expire today so im freaking out. I guess I will have to run to the DMV tomorrow to fix things.
On my way to work and there is a dumb ass in Carbon Canyon stopping at every intersection to allow a car to cross. Come on! I can see every 5 intersections but not every single one. Total BS. ARGH!
Weenie Roast lineup gets announced. No NINE-INCH-NAILS, but instead get probably my two most hated bands Linkin Park and The Killers. The other line up includes Korn who will play the same boring set as the last 9 times ive seen them...and these following acts who are actually awesome....
Interpol
The Bravery
Social Distortion
Bad Religion
Tim Armstrong
I forget the rest...but no NIN...no Tool...
My life is always full of up and downs but lately seems more like a downward spiral

Zero Sum - Year Zero - NIN -
They're starting to open up the sky
They're starting to reach down through
And it feels like we're living in that split-second
Of a car crash
And time is slowing down
And if we only had a little more time
And this time
Is all there is
Do you remember the time we
And all the times we
And should have
And were going to
I know
And I know you remember
How we could justify it all
And we knew better
In our hearts we knew better
And we told ourselves it didn't matter
And we chose to continue
And none of that matters anymore
In the hour of our twilight
And soon it will be all said and done
And we will all be back together as one
If we will continue at all
Shame on us
Doomed from the start
May God have mercy
On our dirty little hearts
Shame on us
For all we've done
And all we ever were
Just zeros and ones
And you never get away
And you never get to take the easy way
And all of this is a consequence
Brought on by our own hand
If you believe in that sort of thing
And did you ever really find
When you closed your eyes
Any place that was still
And at peace
And I guess I just wanted to tell you
As the light starts to fade
That you are the reason
That I am not afraid
And I guess I just wanted to mention
As the heavens will fall
We will be together soon if we
Will be anything at all
Shame on us
Doomed from the start
May God have mercy
On our dirty little hearts
Shame on us
For all we've done
And all we ever were
Just zeros and ones

I Hate the KILLERS!
ok..for sometime now I have disliked the Killers but not I can't stand them. After reading an interview with the Killers in Spin Magazine, Brandon Flowers is the cockiest mofo on the planet. The fame that the Killers have had simply went to his head. Hell 3 years ago they were playing gigs at a bar at the South by Southwest festival and now they are headling huge festivals...Ok Props for that but seriously, for Brandon Flowers say, "There are bands that are ok, bands that are good, and bands that are great, guess which one the Killers are in?" And, making comments on Panic at the Disco! and Fallout Boy saying he would like to beat the death out of those groups is uncalled for. While I have not been the biggest supporter of FOB, that is just wrong. Brandon also mentioned that Sam's Town is the greatest album released in the past 20 years. Come on...the album was just ok...it wasn't as good as their first album Hot Fuss...should have been called Hot Puss cause Flowers is a big puss. And for their fued with the Bravery. Brandon says the Bravery is riding on the coat tails of the killers copying their style. BRANDON....look at The Strokes, White Stripes, The Vines...whose coat tails are you riding? The Strokes are a WAY better band than yours and their heads aren't as far up their ass as yours is. I dispise your group now and hope they fall flat on its face...Your stupid little old western cowboy gimmick just isn't working either so you can just drop that.

Weenie Roast 2007
Its that time of year for the KROQ Weenie Roast....Lineup will be announced soon so I thought I would do my predictions:
Linkin Park- Took out Tool and went with Grime's guess...which is more than likely accurate
NIN- New Album...Secret Shows...Weenie Roast..Best Album of 07 easily
Incubus- New Album...Shows in June get cancelled probably to play Weenie Roast
Chris Cornell Solo- New Album...was in KROQ studios
Muse-Awesome band that doesn't get enough recognition
Silversun Pickups- Lots of radio play..new album
The Bravery - New Album...Tour
This is the only guess I have....please add some more guesses if you any

Why??
I was at the "M" where the Birdman works and I was working on an issue I got called over for. Well, I happened to glance out the window and at the fancy hotel next door there were two women who were getting ready to suntan next to the pool.
What came to my mind then has possibly jumped into yours before....
Why do people insist on tanning by the pool? Is the sun warmer by the pool? Will you not get as tanned while tanning on the grass or driveway?
Why people? Why?

Gotta Love Redneck Weekend
It was Redneck weekend on Comedy Central this past Sunday and I watched a good portion of it.
The Comedy Central Roast of Jeff Foxworthy- Hilarious...especially Larry the Cableguy..Just looking at him makes you laugh..Mostly everyone was making fun of The Jeff Foxworthy Show from back in the days that only lasted 1 season...I don't remember the other jokes.
Jeff Foxworthy in: Totally Committed- You might be a redneck if you go to a Family Reunion looking for a date...Niiiiice
The Blue Collar Comedy Tour Starring: Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Ron White, and Bill Engvall. Funny stuff ending with the comics making fun of each others old photographs...One photo had Larry the Cable guy laying in bed with shorts on and a sheep looking scared in the bed next to him.
The Ron White Comedy Central Special: Didn't get to watch this special but saw the commercials..."When I was growing up all the cool kids had a Member's Only jacket". "Not me, I had an everyone is invited jacket".
And Finally, you can't have a redneck weekend without the least funniest movie of all time, Joe Dirt....
I so want to see Jeff Foxworthy do stand up but I'm afraid i'd be take the brunt of all jokes related to hispanics...or hispanics that look arabic
I'm skeedattling off now y'all

UFO Stories OPEN to the Public
France opens UFO files to public
Molly Moore in Paris
March 24, 2007
ON AN August day in 1967, two children tending their family's cows outside a French village reported seeing "four small black beings" fly from the ground and slip headfirst into a sphere that shot skyward in a flash of light and trail of sulfuric odours.
The alleged extraterrestrial sighting, described by the French government as "one of the most astonishing observed in France", is among 1600 UFO case files spanning the past 50 years that the country's space agency opened to the public for the first time on Thursday.
The decision by the National Centre for Space Studies to dump more than 100,000 pages of witness testimony, photos, film footage and audio tapes from its secret UFO archives onto its internet site, www.cnes.fr, for worldwide viewing is an unprecedented move among Western countries. Most consider such records matters of national security.
Within three hours of the first cases being posted on Thursday, the agency's web server crashed, overwhelmed by viewers seeking the first glimpses of the material. Over the next several months the agency will post it to enhance scientific research seeking to explain what the French Government calls "unexplained aerospace phenomena".
"The data we are releasing doesn't demonstrate the presence of extraterrestrial beings," said Jacques Patenet, head of the Group for the Study and Information on Unidentified Aerospace Phenomena, the agency's UFO investigative team. "But it doesn't demonstrate the impossibility of such presence either. The questions remain open."
He said that among the 1600 cases to be opened to the public, "a few dozen are very intriguing and can be called UFOs".
Most of the cases were found to be caused by atmospheric anomalies or mistaken perception of such things as aircraft lights, or to be hoaxes.
In the case of the two children, they said the UFO left "a strong sulfur odour after departure". They raced home in tears and their father summoned police who "noted the sulfur odour and the dried grass at the reported place where the sphere took off", the report said.
The investigators were impressed by the uniformity of detail provided by the children and other witnesses. "No rational explanation has been given to date of this exceptional meeting," the investigation concluded.

Rosetta Stoned
Alrighty, Then... Picture This If You Will...
10 to 2am, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need-to-know" post, just outside of Area 51. Contemplating the whole "Chosen People" thingy, when a flaming stealth banana split the sky, like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this. Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping... "Holy fucking shit..."
(Holy fucking shit... Holy fucking shit... Holy fucking shit...)
Then the X-Files being, looking like some kind of blue-green Jackie Chan with Isabella Rossellini lips, and breath that reeked of vanilla Chig Champa, did a slow-mo Matrix descent outta the butt end of the banana vessel, and hovered above my bug-eyes, my gaping jaw...... and my sweaty L. Ron Hubbard upper lip, and all I could think was: "I hope Uncle Martin here doesn't notice that I pissed my fuckin' pants."
So light in his way, like an apparition, that he had me crying out:
"Fuck me, it's gotta be the Deadhead Chemistry! The blotter got right on top of me, got me seein' E-muthafuckin'-T!!!"
And after calming me down with some orange slices and some fetal spooning, E.T. revealed to me his singular purpose. He said, "You...... are the Chosen One, the One who will deliver the message. A message of hope for those who choose to hear it, and a warning for those who do not."
Me. The Chosen One? They chose me!!! And I didn't even graduate from fuckin' high school!
You'd better... you'd better... you'd better... you'd better listen.
Then he looked right through me with somniferous almond eyes. Don't even know what that means, must remember to write it down. This is so real, like the time Dave floated away. See, my heart is pounding, 'coz this shit never happens to me.
I can't breathe right now! It was so real, like I woke up in Wonderland. All sorta terrifying, I don't wanna be all alone while I tell this story. And can anyone tell me, why y'all sound like Peanuts parents? Will I ever be coming down? This is so real. Finally, it's my lucky day. See, my heart is racing, 'coz this shit never happens to me. I can't breathe right now!
You believe me, don't you? Please believe what I've just said! See, the Dead ain't touring, and this wasn't all in my head. See, they took me by the hand and invited me right in. Then they showed me something I don't even know where to begin.
Strapped down to my bed.
Feet cold, eyes red.
I'm out of my head.
Am I alive? Am I dead?
Can't remember what they said.
God damn, shit the bed.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position. Such a heavy burden now to be the One. Born to bear and bring to all the details of our ending, to write it down for all the world to see. But I forgot my pen. Shit the bed again... Typical.
Strapped down to my bed.
Feet cold, eyes red.
I'm out of my head.
Am I alive? Am I dead?
Sunkist, Sudafed, Gyroscopes and infrared won't help, I'm brain dead.
Can't remember what they said.
God damn, shit the bed.
I can't remember what they said to me. Can't remember what they said to make me out to be the hero. Can't remember what they said................... Bob, help me! Can't remember what they said........ We don't know, and we won't know. GOD DAMN, SHIT THE BED!!!

In a Borat Voice....Very Nice
As I predicted...Rage Against the Machine is playing more than their Coachella Festival date. They are headlining the Rok Out Music Festival (The festival is rok not rock) in San Bernardino at the National Orange Show. The Date August 11th with ticket on sale date being March 31st. The Wu-Tang Clan is also playing on the bill....Last years Rok Out Festival was headlined my Prodigy.
Not so Nice was the Reno 911:Miami movie. It was the worst movie I have EVER seen. I thought the movie would be bad but in a bad good way....so bad it was actually good like Beerfest and Super Troopers. Reno 911 lasted literally 65 minutes. My cousin and I walked in at 2:40...the movie finished at 3:45...seriously..don't see this movie...don't even rent it...in fact...don't even see the film debut on Comedy Central....it sucks
The movie that doesn't look like its going to suck is Zodiac...as some of you may know...I am a HUGE true horror film fan. The Zodiac killer began killer couples in the San Francisco area back in the 60's or 70's...After killing his victims he would make a call to the Police (Not the band) and tell them there is a murder at so and so location and oh by the way I killed them....he would then send cryptographic messages to the police...some of the letters have yet to been decrypted...The Zodiac killer has not been caught but as quickly as he started killing people...he stopped...read about Zodiac if you get a chance.

Itch to Bitch
Ya know, my foot was itching really bad on the way to work the other day...Yes I took a shower...but it was one of those itches that felt like it was coming from inside my foot. I took my shoe off and started scratching with my other foot....all this while I was driving on the 57 south ( a really busy freeway) I swear that damn itch itched for 30 minutes or so. Finally I pull off the 57 and enter my favorite donut shop, Donut Star. As I finally parked and was just about to reach down to scratch the hell out of the itch, the itch went away. That would have been a damn good scratch too...freakin itch teased me until I finally had a chance to wipe it out and it ran with its tail between its leg!
Death to the Itch bitches

ARGH!
Ok....
What does the Andy Griffith show and The Cosby show have in common....
Answer:
They are television shows that have NOTHING to do with the characters played on the show!
Andy Griffith...This show aired for about 8 years during the 60's and was about a Sheriff named Andy TAYLOR! This show should have been called the Andy Taylor Show! F*ckin sh#t man...
The Cosby show...First off...Lisa Bonet back in the day ::drools::: Now she's bald and ugly..but anywho...The Cosby Show was about a character named Heathcliff HUXTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!
Name a show after the freakin characters PLEASE!!!! Follow in the footsteps of Three's Company...When that show had Janet and Teri move on and it was Jack and that HOT airline stewardess, the show was named Two's a Crowd...Why?? Because Three's Company didn't make sense!!!

Popcorn
Have you ever popped microwave popcorn and found those kernals at the bottom of the bag that never seem to pop. Well the answer to that is because as the popcorn bag begins its dive to the big zero on the countdown clock the bag begins to cool. That and the fact that the oil in the bag has pretty much been dispersed to the popped kernals, there is nothing really going inside the bag to allow all the kernals to pop. So don't stick your bag back in the microwave to finish popping the kernals, you will end up burning the corn you already popped.
Enjoy!

Odd Dreams
I have had to very weird dreams in the past two nights...
Dream 1. I had a pet Bull...not a pitbull..a pet bull...He had full horns and would run around like a guarddog in my backyard...the only time he was calm was when he was around me.
Dream 2. I was on a bobsled team. I could clearly see the track and was telling my partner..duck down more...it will increase our speed.
Any thoughts...

Coachella
Birdman....don't ever doubt me again...All others...when it comes to music and concerts please trust me in what my predictions are.
Last week I sent a message to Birdman stating that Rage Against the Machine was offered 1.5 Million dollars to play at the 2007 Coachella Art and Music festival. He didn't believe it would happen.
Today....KROQ announced that Rage Against the Machine has reunited and will be playing at Coachella on night number 3 which is April 29th. This reunion has been 6 years in the making as they broke up in late 2000 or early 2001. There has been wide speculation as to why Audioslave raced to release their latest record "Revelations". From what I have been able to gather they had a 3 record contract and wanted to complete their obligations before moving on to other projects. Chris Cornell has been wanting to do a solo project for sometime now and well the other members reformed Rage.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't wait.
The other two Coachella dates will be headlined by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bjork.

Top 5 Albums of 2006
Sorry for the delay...Have been pretty busy....but here it is
Audioslave's Top 5 CD picks of the year
Surprisingly enough, Audioslave's Revelations is not included on the list...The album lacked any energy I like to feel coming from an album. I don't even think that any of their songs made it to Radio. Rage reunion anyone?
5. Justin Timberlake - Future Sex / Love Sounds. JT as I like to call him was at one time on my hated list of musicians for a little group called NSuck...or something similar to that. He has made a complete turn around and with Timbaland cutting the tracks, this album makes you want to go out and boogie. Best track on the CD is easily Sexy Back but could be tied with My Love.
4. My Chemical Romance- Welcome to the Black Parade. This album showed how much this band has matured. Great anthems including Black Parade and the Teenagers Scare the Shit out of me track.I wonder what Bert McCracken is doing now that his band is less popular than the band that he found
3.Wolfmother- Self Titled. Nobody told me that Black Sabbath and Led Zepplin joined forces and created a new band...Oh wait...they didn't? That's right. Wolfmother's Self Titled album is one of my favorites. The lead singer has an awesome voice, the band has a new sound that gives me an eargasim, and there is not one bad song on this album. If you haven't bought it, buy it!
2.Incubus - Light Grenades. From top to finish, not a bad song on this album. I'm no mo, but Brandon Boyd's voice is freakin awesome
1. Tool - 10,000 Days. Many of my friends call this album Tool's weirdest and some find it kind of creepy. I love it. Radio hits Vicarious and The Pot are both good tunes but I have 4 favorite tracks on the cd: Wings for Marie, 10,000 days, Lost Keys (Blame Hofmann), and finally Rosetta Stoned. Lost Keys and Rosetta Stoned are to this album as Parabol and Parabola are to their previous Lateralus CD.
Lost Keys (Blame Hoffmann) is an intro song for Rosetta Stoned and refers to Albert Hoffman, the creator of LSD. The song itself has no lyrics but is a story of a Nurse speaking with a Doctor about a patient who is in this mental ward with no ID, stable vitals; they pretty much don't know what is going on with this patient. The Doctor proceeds to ask the patient, "tell me what is wrong". The patient finally answers the doctor in the song called Rosetta Stoned.
A little background for those who don't know what Rosetta Stone is. It is a stone which dates back to 196 B.C. The priests of Egypt would scribe into the stone in three different scripts: Greek (Egyptian language during that time), Demotic (common script in Egypt), and hieroglyphics (used for Religious Documentation). Rosetta is the town the stone was found in. It was used as a communication device so that the priests, government officials and rulers of Egypt could read what it said, it was sort of their newspaper. In this case it was written to honour the Egyptian pharaoh who had done good for the People of Egypt.
In the song Rosetta Stoned, the letter "d" was added to stone which signfies that this communicator is well...stoned..It is about a Man who is having a really bad acid trip just outside of Area 51 in the Nevada Desert (side note, I heard Area51 got moved to Idaho). This communicator thinks of himself as Rosetta Stone, the communicator, and is abducted by Aliens. He is supposed to tell all on Earth of how we are to die as the aliens told him. However, as the lyrics state, this communicator "forgot his pen, shit the bed again" (a saying used for messing up) and we will more than likely never know how aliens are going to kill us.
If you listen to the last song on Lateralus, there is a guy on there talking about how he used to work at Area51. I wonder if that person is Rosetta Stoned....
Enjoy...

Howdy
Hey people,
I apologize for not writing as much as I used to but I have been swamped with work and by the time I get home I am usually worn out.
For those who used to read Bean's blog I thought I would pass along some information to you. Bean sent me an email about a week and a half ago with pictures of his house. You see there was a storm that went through Seattle with 90mph winds and heavy rain. His guest house where his KROQ studio is, and two to possibly three of his cars were damaged by falling trees. He and his Donna are ok but he didn't mention anything about his animals. I hope they are all ok as well.
At my house today we are expecting 80mph winds. There are a lot of trees by our house which kind of worries me so I am hoping all will be ok.
New Years Eve in Las Vegas isn't happening for the Wife and I as originally planned. She has been sick with the flu for nearly two weeks and is on medication which means no drinking.
My Computer Forensics course is coming along well. I am on break from the course until mid January and I am looking for possible internship at places in So Cal.
I am also working on a re-buttal song to KROQ's Dave "The King of Mexico"s - The Clipper Nations back. I have written it, I just have to do some voice sound match up and it should be gold.
I hope you all have a good New Years. I will try and post my top 5 albums of this year before the new year is out. If not take care!

I'm Baaaaaack
I have not posted in a long time. The last time I think I posted was way back before Halloween and I apologize but I have been very busy.
A while back I wrote into a sports radio show here in LA (AM570 KLAC). The afternoon show there hosted by Joe Grande, Matt Money Smith and Wayne Cook has a segment called Good Times Gauntlet where on Thursdays they allow listeners to write a trivia for them. I submitted mine back in late October / early November and it was read on the air. My prize, a hockey jersey, and hat. Awesome...I've always wanted a hockey jersey...for those who do not know, I used to play rollerblade hockey back in the days...I wish the sport got the respect it deserved. Well I was contacted yesterday and since I have waited a while for the prize to arrive, they are sending it within two days and I am also getting Kings Hockey tickets!!! My first hockey game...I can't wait.

Night 2 KAAC
Night 2 of the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas has been announced and let me tell you...It's a bit of a shocker..

Angels and Airwaves - Got it
The Raconteurs- Got It
Snow Patrol - Got It
Evanescence- WTF?!?!?! Freakin KIIS FM reject band who no showed at the 2004 KROQ Weenie Roast...or was it 03? This band blows and is all hype...I hope they no show again and there is an awesome surprise in place of them.
Panic at the Disco- Didn't guess but should have.
There better be some heavy hitters and more acoustic for night 2 or else Night 1 is the winner of the better nights
Just as I predicted two Heavy hitters were announced for the KROQ Acoustic Christmas

KAAC update
I am 7 for 10 (nice combo) so far with the following acts confirmed for night 1 of the KROQ Acoustic Christmas:
Saosin (Pronounced SAY-OCEAN)
30 Seconds to Mars
Wolfmother
+44
Papa Roach
Fall Out Boy- This band fell out of no where to be playing this gig. They were booed out of Last Years Acoustic Christmas but brought back for this years? I don't get it. Hopefully Evanescence won't be the surprise guest
My Chemical Romance
Incubus
AFI
Foo Fighters- I called for this band to headline night number 2. While I was still correct that they will be playing it throws me off for night number 2. It could mean that they are playing both nights one Acoustic (Night 2) and Non-Acoustic (Night 1)

Acoustic XMAS
Its that time of year again...the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas. This concert is by far my favorite of the year and one of the hardest concerts to get into, yet I have been to the past 5. Some bands that have played in the past years are Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Janes Addiction, Coldplay, Fiona Apple, Velvet Revolver, Brand New and many many more...Who will play this year? The announcement has not been made yet so as I do every year I am going to make predictions....
Night 1: (Not Acoustic)
Audioslave or Tool
Incubus
My Chemical Romance - Possible headliner..for sure Co-Headliner
30 Seconds to Mars - Opening band
Papa Roach
Night 2: (More Acoustic)
Foo Fighters (Acoustic Set)
Snow Patrol
OK Go!
This is just a partial guess. I have a lot of things running through my mind right now so I will post later as I cannot currently think straight

Death of a Blog
Today is the last day that Bean will write on his infamous Bean's Blog. It reminds me of the last day that KNAC was on the air here in Los Angeles. The station went off the air in 1995 and on its final day, was DJ'd by Lars and James from Metallica with the final song being Fade to Black. I clearly remember this because my cousin and I stayed home from school and taped the entire show. The ending of Bean's blog, I think will remain with its readers as the final KNAC show has stayed with me. As with the Fade to Black being the appropriate finish to KNAC, Tater-Tot walking away from the camera was the perfect way to end the blog. Kudos to a guy who didn't have to bring his personal life to us; to someone who wrote on a daily basis and if he couldn't would provide pictures in place of words. Kudos bean as we fade to black
FADE TO BLACK- Metallica
Life it seems, will fade away
Drifting further everyday
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters no one else
I have lost the will to live
Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free
Things not what they used to be
Missing one inside of me
Deathly lost this can't be real
Emptiness is filling me
To the point of agony
Growing darkness taking dawn
I was me, but now he's gone
No one but me can save myself, but it's too late
Now I can think, think why I should even try
Yesterday seems as though it never existed
Death greets me warm, now I will just say goodbye

A secret crush
There was a very funny segment on the Kevin and Bean show today. What cartoon character would you bang? When I heard about that I had to call in and reveal a secret crush I have had for a long time.
My secret cartoon crush has been April O' Neil from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She was the freaky news reporter in a hot one piece yellow jumpsuit with the zipper zipped just enough down...oooooooh.....She was way hot. Hotter than any freakin news reporter out there right now...except for Lisa Joyner. And with Halloween coming up, I'm thinking about buying the wifey a yellow jumpsuit and a camera.
if you make a comment, please make a comment on those Cartoon characters you had a crush on...It will be a funny topic to look back on.

Ed Gein
Wow...245 people have viewed my profile..I think a month ago it was 37.
I promised you a story of Ed Gein and well here it is..I typed it up this morning just for you..enjoy..
Ed Gein (1906-1984) was a lonely Wisconsin farmer who lived alone and was very fond of his Mother. Ed had a sick perverted mind and at the age of ten, and an orgasmic experience when he witnessed his Mom and Dad slaughtering one of their farm animals. He was later caught masturbating in his bathtub to which his Mother decided throwing scalding hot water on him would stop him. She then proceeded to grab his junk and call them the curse of men.
His Mom, Dad, and Brother all died within a 5 year span. Soon after this, women in neighboring cities started disappearing. When Bernice Worden, a store clerk disappeared, police started an investigation which led them to Gein's farm. There the police found Worden's body hanging upside down in a shed. Her head decapitated and her body split from vagina to the neck.
Upon searching Gein's house, the police came across severed heads on bedposts, a necklace made of human lips, a woman's body outfit made out of a skinned female which included her breasts and vajay-jay. Human skulls were cut in half to make soup bowls, a human hear in a saucepan on the stove, and a human face made out of another humans skin.
In the end, Gein was convicted of killing two women but had admitted to digging up many women who resembled his mother. He was sent to a mental institution where he died in 1984 from cancer.
Some movies inspired by Gein include, Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Deranged,Silence of the Lambs, and House of 1000 corpses.

Here it is...Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
A little background...I love horror movies that deal and or have events that can happen in real life...
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (TCM from here on out): The Beginning was a gore fest from beginning to end. I kid you not in the first 5 minutes of the film, the owner of the meat packing company gets a hammer to his face....Did I mention it was a close up shot?
This movie is the prequal to the TCM that came out around 3-4 years ago. It shows about a family who lives in a small Texas town where the meat packing company, the last revenue generating facility in the city has closed down due to health reasons. Their town is also starting to be overrun by hippie kids and bikers which also pisses them off.
Characters:
Sheriff Hoyt: You remember him as the sheriff from TCM from 3-4 years ago. Was made a star by his dark sadistic humor which people absolutely loved. Well...he wasn't actually a sheriff...He was just a hungry old korean war veteran who killed the last sheriff in the city stole his clothes, drank his blood, and presumed his identity.
Momma: I'm not sure if she was Sheriff Hoyt's Mom but that's what he called her. They looked the same age...She was pretty much against what Leatherface and the Sheriff were doing but soon started going along with it. She even cooks them soup out of human remains.
The Uncle: He was the old man with no legs in the first TCM. Well he was also against the Sheriff's and Leatherface actions but he did not want to go against them either. This movie showed how he lost his legs. Starting out as a tow truck driver for the Sheriff, he was just an old man doing what he was told. A biker shots the Uncle in his leg. Having no medicine, the Uncle is suffering for part of the movie...Good ol' Sheriff took care of that and had Leatherface chop his leg off with a chainsaw. I started laughing at this part as the Sheriff said, "Look at that...you did a messy job...his legs are all uneven now...Chop off his other leg", which Leatherface did...There was nothing wrong with his other leg!!! It was just uneven.
Leatherface: Turns out this guy was abandonded as a child because he was really ugly. Momma found him while she was digging in the trash and took him home with her. While growing up he used to mutilate animals and soon became a worker at the meat packing company. When that closed down he still had the urge to kill and with the Sheriff's help, started killing off hippies and bikers. Leatherface didn't use a chainsaw for most of the movie. The first time he used it was when he threw a biker on top of it and turned the chainsaw on while the sheriff held the biker on top of the chainsaw! Awesome and gruesome....From here on out, the chainsaw was his weapon of choice.
In the movie 4 late teens of legal age (2 guys, 2 girls) were traveling because the two guys were brothers and were to be shipped off to Vietnam together. The younger of the two was going to run off into Mexico as he was scared to go to war. He started burning his report to duty card but his older brother saw and was like WTF? A biker girl started chasing the teens and the teens, not paying attention hit a cow in the road which caused them to flip. The biker was going to rob them when the Sheriff came and blew the bikers brains away and took 3 of the 4 teens, as well as the dead biker back to the hell house where he had his way with them...especially the girls..There were beatings, mutilations, torture, and killing that pursuded. Finger nails were pulled off, faces removed, human soup, blood drinking...you name it and it was in this Horror Flick of the Year...I won't give out the ending or in between parts but I give it two severed thumbs up.
As i mentioned this movie was really graphic. From close ups of Leatherface peeling the skin off of arms and a face to the beatings him and the Sheriff dished out. My wife was sickened by the sights and had to excuse herself for a few minutes. I loved the ending which I will not spoil for you but it is pretty eerie and leaves you saying...how can someone do that...
They say this is based off a true story which it is...Notice the words..based off...not every detail is word for word, action for action what happened. Either tonight or tomorrow I will give you the story of Ed Gein who if it wasn't for him we wouldn't of had movies such as TCM or Psycho...

Raul on the Kevin and Bean Show?
I was on the Kevin and Bean show today speaking about Bean's blog. I made a petition to keep Bean's Blog Alive about 2 months ago or so and it finally reached its goal of 100 signatures. To my surprise when I got home last night I saw an email from Bean asking if I can be on the air tommorrow which I quickly replied to with a yes. Around 6:15 I get a call from Lightning who is the producer of the show. He gets some info from me and I'm on hold waiting to be brought on the air. The queue arrives and I start speaking about the petition and I totally get chastised for creating it. Ralph and Kevin ask me a few questions pretty much asking why the hell did I do it for and finally ending the interview with an, "I'm going to kill you comment". It was a lot of fun but seriously sign the petition. It's a great blog with tons of information, awesome pictures, and Tater Tot Friday.

A tickle
I've had a nose hair tickling my nostril all day. Birdman and The Duke said to pull it but that hurts too much...I can't wait until I'm home to pull it or cut it.

The Wedding, Forensics, and a Tool
Well I haven't posted in a while...vacation..wedding..honeymoon..
The wedding and honeymoon went very well and I hope to be posting some pictures up soon. Keep in mind that they are clean pictures and nothing from the honeymoon slides will show up on here nor anywhere else on the net. Special Thanks to The Wrider, The Duke of Fullerton, and The Man O' War from Portugal Mario for attending the festivites. The Duke and Dukess had a dance off with the Man O' War!!
I started my Computer / Digital Forensics classes at Cal State Fullerton and i've got to tell you that they are awesome and so far I am really into them. There is so much that I have learned in such a little time. For those that don't know what Computer / Digital Forensics is, it is the study of Computer Crime and once complete I will be a certified Digital Forensics Examiner. It encompasses Law and Computers which are two of my favorite subjects. I'll keep you posted to how its going.
FYI...I love talk radio because you can listening to interesting conversations and never have to say anything back.
Two days before my wedding I went to go see what is probably the best concert I have been to this year...the band....TOOL. The stage set up was all white and very simple. Two songs from their set were Wings for Marie part I. and 10,000 Days (Wings part II). During this set Maynard, the lead singer for the band walked off stage. I didn't know why at first but then I did some reading (once I got home). Tool changed their setlist for this show alone and included Wings parts 1 & 2 which is something they have never played live. Both of the songs refer to his Mother Marie (or Judith Marie). 10,000 days refers to how long she survived with the sickness she had. The reason Maynard walked off stage was because he broke down in tears while singing the songs. Those songs have much more meaning to me now than they did before. The rest of the set was AWESOME! Laser show...video mixing..everything flawless. Tool is a must see band.

Bachelor Party...and The Mother Fn Man himself..
The Recovery efforts are on their way...by that I mean the Aspirin.
Good Evening folks; it is I the post Bachelor-Party guy without the hang over I thought I was going to have.
I will start off by saying Saturday was one of the best times I've had in a long time. Lots of laughs, drinks, fight watching outside on top of a 51 story lounge in Las Vegas...
Now to the part of the weekend that pissed me off and opened my eyes to a lot of things...yeah I don't have many close friends, but the ones I invited to Friday nights festivities I expected would show up for this special occasion..Out of the 20 or so that I invited umm 2 showed up....Luckily my cousin has a lot of drunk friends that he invited who showed up that enjoy having a good time no matter who its for. Unfortunatly, I'm not too crazy for his friends as they get really really out of control. After 2 1/2 hours of being there, I took off as I soon felt the party turned more for them than me. Had it not been for the drunk friends, most of whom I didn't know, there would have been 4 people there...sad isn't it? Happy on outside, horrible on inside..Did I mention there were no chairs inside this empty house? Thanks to the Duke of Fullerton, he managed to swing a blow up mattress for me.
Saturday really made up for the Friday night shit fest. Went to Vegas, stayed at Hooters, and had lots of fun. Festivities started around 9pm at the VooDoo Lounge at the Rio. I was introduced to a drink called "Witch Doctor" and became really familiar with it by the end of the night. That as well as his pal good ol Jack Daniels. Yes I drank and it was cool...no sickness, just a nice buzz going on. Smoked on a cigar..enjoyed the Las Vegas skyline.
What was cool about the VooDoo Lounge this night was it not only my Bachelor Party, it was the official Ultimate Fighting Championship After Party and guess who showed up? The man himself, Mr. Kick your ass any day, the Motherfuckin man himself Chuck Liddell. He just finished kicking Sobral's ass in the 1st round of their UFC match that took place that night at Mandalay Bay. I can now say Chuck Liddell was at my Bachelor Party and I won't be lying about it.
Something else happened at that party that made me leave early without some of the people I went with. Don't think bad, I didn't do anything wrong. I actually prevented something from occuring and I feel really good about it. No I didn't fight Chuck Liddell, he's scared of me. The Truth of the matter is...I can't say here..I'll tell those like the Duke, The Wrider, and Birdman of what happened. Sorry to the others who read this blog and want to know, just can't have too much info out there.

Didelphic Uterus
The Duke of Fullerton and I had an interesting conversation over lunch and dealt with Didelphic Uterus. It all started with the, who would you rather date, a lady with one leg bigger than the other, or one who is so crosseyed that her eyes are pointing at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock. We went on, or I went on as he was getting grossed out and finally stumbled onto Didelphic Uterus. Didelphic Uterus is a rare condition that occurs in women. This so called defect occurs when a woman has TWO vajayjay's. TWO!?!?!? How lucky must a guy be to date a woman with Didelphic Uterus.
In case you were wondering, the question was, Would you rather date a girl with Didelphic Uterus or one with three whoowhoo's

Birdmans Request
The Birdman requested it and here it is. The reciepe for paste.
Flour and Water Paste
This paste can be used for papier-mâché projects. This paste is nontoxic, which is good for young children, and it will last for months if you keep it in the refrigerator.
1/2 cup flour
3 cups boiling water
3/4 cup cold water
Slowly pour cold water into flour and stir to make a paste. Pour paste into the boiling water, stirring constantly. Cook for 5 minutes or until the paste is thick and smooth. When cool, pour into a plastic squeeze-top container; label.

Notice something different this year than last?
Brief history about myself. I have been a big weather buff since I was 7 years old or so. I listened to weather forcasts on my police scanner, watched Dallas Raines give the afternoon weather report. I even wanted to become a meteorologist.
Current- One thing has boggled my mind and I've been wanting to post on this for a few days. Have you noticed one thing about this year that is different than last year? Here is a hint:
Arlene,Bret,Cindy,Dennis,Emily,Franklin,Gert,Harvey,Irene,Jose,Katrina,Lee,Maria, Nate,Ophelia,Philippe,Rita,Stan,Tammy,Vince,Wilma,Alpha,Beta,Gamma,Delta,Epsilon,
Zeta
Well, if you don't have it by now, those are Hurricane names. 27 of them to be exact; in fact, so many hurricanes happened last year that the NWS had to issue Greek names.
Hurricane Katrina, one of the most devistating hurricanes of all time swept across Florida as a Category 1 and gained intensity to what i believe was the strongest hurricane in history. The storm lost some of its strength as it devestated Louisiana.
There were a total of 4 CAT 5 storms last year which is the first time ever in a year that there have been more than 2.
Onto this year...With half the hurricane season over, we have a total of 0 Hurricanes and 2 tropical storms. NO HURRICANES!?!?!
Last year we were hearing that Global warming was the cause for the outbreak. If that was the case, then wouldn't we see that this year?
I read an interesting article a few years which talked about how the Government was working on a scientific experiement to control weather. Weather Manipluation was the title and it was pretty scary. Imagine using the weather in warfare? What could the affects be from that.
In 2005,was the Atlantic Ocean, and the Golf Coast the testing ground for this?
Just this year in Loma Linda, a freak incident occured called "megacryometeors". This my friends are chunks of ice that fall from a cloudless sky. In fact, megacryometeors have fallen in such places as Africa where its freakin 110 degrees in the shade. How can a chunk of ICE fall out of the sky??? Have you heard about this on the news? No? Could it cause a panic if reported? Possibly. Weather Manipulation? Possibly
Please take a second to read the below article. You may find it interesting.

Damn those Terrorists
Hey all,
Still here in San Francisco. Looks like I will not be flying home tomorrow after all because with the transportation I have going to the Airport, I would not get there in time since this Terror Alert messed things up.
If you haven't heard by now, the US is under an Orange Terror Alert level cause of some jackholes in London who were planning on making explosives to resemble drinks. Early word was that the terrorists were planning on blowing up the planes over New York, Boston, and Los Angeles. The Govenator Arrrrnold placed the National Guards at the airports up here along with bomb sniffing dogs and police men with rifles. The BART which I talked about on my last post has police men with bomb sniffing dogs searching random people as well. What a first time flying experience.
I went to Fisherman's Wharf last night and ate dinner with some people that i'm taking my class with. We had fun but the food really sucked. We ended up bagging it and giving it to a homeless guy.
The weather is really nice over here..around 70 degrees and overcast.
Since there is no longer a flight for me I will be driving into So Cal tonight.

I'm in Frisco
Hey everyone,
I am currently in San Francisco. I got to Oakland around 4:30pm and took the BART (Train) to Frisco. Let me tell you...the plane ride was awesome. It felt like I was on a really high bus. There was very little turbulence and the views were awesome...by that I mean the lady across from me in a tank top had massive whoo whoo's. I took the guy sitting next to me preztels because he was asleep.
The BART was scarier than the plane ride. It went through some of the slummiest parts of Oakland which by coincidence is right behind Oakland Coliseum, home of the Raiders. I get in one of the train cars and it had about 3 people in it, one of whom was sleeping. The car was very hot so i leaned back to rest and try to keep cool. Next thing I know, im sweating and i'm by myself in the car, everyone switched to an airconditioned car. Well the train slowed to a stop so I decide to switch cars and wouldn't you know it. As I move from one car to another, the train takes off at high speed and i lose my balance. There is a sign that says don't stand between cars, guess where I was. I couldn't open the door to the other car because the train was moving too fast. Finally with my mighty mighty muscles I pryed it open.
My exit finally comes so I get out and its a really nice part of Frisco but I had no idea which direction to go. I head up Powell street and according to Google Maps my hotel is 1000 feet from the train. BS on that. I walked probably half a mile up the steep San Francisco hills avoiding bums and strollers.
My hotel room is really nice, small but nice. I even have a robe! The bathroom is emmaculate and I have surround sound in my room. Uncle Vitos is a kick ass restaurant if you want some real italian taste in a greasy see through bag.

The White Album
Intro: First of all I'm going to try and do this off the top of my head so if I get the facts wrong or confused I apologize.
A little history about myself. I didn't really start getting into rock n roll until 1998 while taking a Bach to Rock class in high school. I was a fan of Nirvana and 311 but I didn't have any interest in knowing anything else about the bands and just wanted to hear the music. Bach to Rock class changed that as I was introduced to a band that changed rock music history as we know it; This band...The Beatles.
The Beatles "White Album" is up there as one of my favorite albums of all time as it features many genres including folk, country, rock, psychodelic/goa, hiphop, funk, and blues all mixed in together which is to this date the only album I know that is like this. The album itself was given its name the "White Album" simply because the album sleeve was white with the words The Beatles embossed in an off center fashion on the cover. There is nothing on the sleeve or vinyl itself that gives it that name "White Album". The album was produced in 1968 by George Martin and Chris Thomas during one of The Beatles most frustrated times that they have ever had together. At this time The Beatles were heavily involved with Maharishi Yogi in India as well as experimenting with new types of hallucinogen drugs not to mention the involvement of Yoko Ono was at its highest level.
After returning from India to record this album, John Lennon and Paul McCartney were very frustrated with each other so much that they recorded the album in two separate studios with two separate producers (names mentioned above). Paul wanted the Beatles to go in one direction with their musical style and wanted to separate John from Yoko. John wanted to do his style harder/darker rock and was very much in love with Yoko and was tired of hearing all the crap the rest of the Beatles were dishing out about their relationship. On top of that, the Beatles mentor/idol/teacher the Maharishi of India was accused of trying to rape Mia Farrow which led to the departure of the Beatles from India.
According to George Martin, Paul wanted to record this album with a softer melodic style as John wanted a psychedelic, harder, darker style thus leading to Paul and John having lead sing their style and their own songs throughout the album.
Some McCartney Songs:
Helter Skelter: Paul actually wanted to spice things up with Helter Skelter making it the hardest rocking song he's ever written. The reason he wrote it this heavy was his response to The Who's "I can see For Miles" track which was pretty heavy. The heavy guitar rifts, and lyrics influenced many people including none other than Charles Manson. Manson heard these lyrics and believed that it was a warning of a race war. He thought of the Beatles as the Four Angels of the Apocalypse and dubbed the race war Helter Skelter. Helter Skelter is also a ride in Great Britian.
Some other songs credited to McCartney are Blackbird, Ob-la-di Ob-la-da, Rocky Racoon, Honey Pie.
Funny story about "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da". The opening piano part to the song was recorded many many times by a very drug induced Paul McCartney. Finally after twenty or so tries, John Lennon came into the studio and yelled, "I am higher right now than I have ever been, Higher than you've ever been, Higher than you'll ever be, and the opening should go like this..." and he played the opening piano line which was recorded and put on the album
Some Lennon Songs:
Yer Blues: This song was recorded due to the rising popularity of Blues music and the decline in psychedelic. John pretty much said you want your blues music well here are yer blues. The lyrics refer to him missing Yoko back when they were in India.
Dear Prudence: This was written to Mia Farrow's sister who was in India with them at the time. She was very shy and didn't want to come out of her room she was staying in.
Revolution 9: The most psychedelic record on this album and the first goa type of song that I know of. This had really early electronica in there as there are different sound bites from television shows some played backwards; creepy screams and noises in a surround sound format. Awesome!
Some other notable tracks are As My Guitar Gently Weeps which Eric Clapton was brought onto record.
"Goodnight" is an awesome lullaby which the music was written by Ringo Starr while lyrics were provided by John Lennon. Very soft, melodic, McCartney style song that Lennon would sing to his son at night time. Personally my favorite song on the disc as it seemed to bring a perfect close to this album.

I ended up watching 40 year old virgin last night again. The first time I saw it I fell asleep half way through it. Good news this time around as I fell asleep in the other half that I didn't fall asleep on before. I don't see what all the big fuss is on it.
One of the hardest words for me to say is Rural. What's one of yours?
I was on my way home from my Fiance's today and the police had the road blocked off. Either a really bad accident or another deer got hit. Damn Commericaliztion Revolution!
All the poor animals and critters are being ran out of their natural habitat with no where to go except to where Humans are. Then we end up killing them and they are "Invading our Neighborhoods" B.S. on all that as we invaded them.
An alaskan oil pipe line was shut down today due to corrosion. That line supplies the US with 8 percent of its oil so expect gas prices to go up about....ready? 45 cents a gallon. I remember I used to say when gas prices started passing 2 dollars a gallon that we are never seeing 1.99 or less for gas again. Well so far I'm right and the oil industry keeps uping the ante so when gas prices are 2.99 a gallon we can be all happy.
I wanted to center this blog around one of my favorite if not my favorite album, The Beatles White Album. I've read awesome stories and listened to interviews regarding this album and they are simply awesome. I will share them with you tomorrow..
I sounded like freakin Mr. Rogers there.

Hmm..
Yesterday I drove by the site of the dead deer and in fact, it is still there. I noticed some of its leg bone is popping out...poor thing
Well..another boring weekend at home...I wish I had some friends that hit me up and say hey lets do something. Oh well, I did get my TV fixed from CC. Did an exchange so hopefully this one doesn't break.
I really enjoy talk radio wanna know why? Well it's because I feel like I am in a conversation with someone yet I don't have to say anything back.
My blog has been really boring lately..I guess there is still a lot on my mind and being stuck here with no where really to go just sucks ass. Maybe I will go to the Casino tonight and play the penny slots.

Details on the Duke of Fullerton, Freeway problems.
I saw a dead deer on the way to work today. I felt bad as its eyes were still open and I can only hope that its bambinos are safe.
I had good topics to talk about but I have completly blanked out and don't have a clue on what I was going to say.
I have a HUGE problem with those pesky carpool drivers who think they have the right to drive in the carpool lane because they are driving their kid somewhere. I think that is totally misuse of the highways since they aren't really carpooling. Seriously, how can that be carpool? Their kids can't drive. They aren't keeping the air any cleaner. Total BS. Any highway patrol readers should pull over and ticket these drivers.
I also have a problem with those Amber Alert signs that you see while driving the freeway. They are good to have in case someone is kidnapped, but seriously, do I have to know that it is going to take 30 minutes to drive to Los Angeles? If no one is kidnapped, leave the signs off!
On that subject I saw an Amber Alert sign recently saying so and so got kidnapped by a male (always seems to be the case) and they are driving a gray sentra. Every gray car I see while driving I think is the kidnapper. Not so happy ending in this story as the kidnapper and his victims were all found dead behind a Supermarket.
I saw a television show on the Travel Channel last night called Extreme Foods: Asia or something similar to that. I work with a few yellow men myself and have witnessed eating of chicken leg/feet with the little goose bumps still on the leg! GROSS....not as gross as this television show. Rooster Testicles (which I laughed at because they are cock balls), ant larvae, Frogs on a stick ala hotdog on a stick, catepillars, etc. You get my drift, F'N sick shit. Someone needs to buy charlie some pepto.
I'm alone this weekend as my fiance is going out of town with her mom for a Mother / Daughter get away before the wedding. Look we all know shes going to get drunk with mom. I hope they catch a donkey show while in San Diego. Watch for your cousins as they run across the freeway babe.
Crap another story just left my head.
5 days and counting folks until I take my first flight to San Francisco. My Mom always told me always wear clean underwear in case something happens. Sorry Mom, but I will probably crap my pants on the way to the airport anyways so the clean underwear won't help any.
Oh ok I remember. Blog reader The Hero asked about the Duke of Fullerton. The Duke of Fullerton aka Mr. Duncan...ah too obvious...Robert D is an alumni of Cal State Fullerton. If we were doing a test on Robert D., the question would be Al Bundy is to Polk High as Robert D. is to..A) DeVry, B) MIG, C) Women's Lib, or D) Cal State Fullerton. There is an ongoing joke with the Duke as we all assume he is rich thus we (The Wrider, Myself, Birdman, and That Guy) go way over the top on his wealth. For instance, his new house that he purchased in Fullerton...you have to cross a draw bridge to get into the compound seriously...I mean, how many 28 year olds can say hey, I have a helicopter landing pad in the back of my house...
Ahh I miss the blog
